Need Help Adding Gloss Finish to Product Shots For Web

I need some help adding some gloss/shine to the product shots I'm going to be using for my website.

The original shots I'm aiming to replicate (the gloss/shine part) can be found here:

Basically I am recreating all the pictures from photoshop and adding colors and it's working fine but they're coming out a little dull and not showing the shine that they'd actually have. Here is a link to one of the .psd's for the bats, it's plain black and you can see how it's dull compared to the pictures above.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, feel free to respond here or you can email me directly @ chris@viperbats.com or AIM: cfine86.

thanks

Add a layer and use a think brush set to white and just paint them on maybe add a little blur and you are good to go, really easy

I also have a tut that shows you how to add reflections to spheres here
