Sorry I keep on coming back to this subject, It is a good bench mark for me to see how my photography is coming on... I took these at sunrise this

The second shot is looking good. Really like the placement of the moon. Gives the shot a bit of a story.
Careful when shooting into direct sun with a digital camera. Maybe use a filter to reduce the light flare. Film camera no problem as it's just a
piece of plastic that's being exposed. Could burn the CCD out, you'd be replacing a piece of equipment. Not cheap.

Number 5 is it for me. Open the same image again but this time in raw! How? Simple in Bridge, right click the image and open in raw....
Lighten the statue so there is a lot of detail in it.
Open it again and duplicate the layer in the one that's already opened. Now mask everything away so you have the light of the 5th photo and the
statue of the new opened file.....
