High ISO tests
Hey all-
Shot some stuff today at the highest ISO settings my 10D will do, and then ran it through lightroom, thinking that, in black and white, the grain
might give it sort of a gritty film look.
Have a gander and tell me what you think. Has anyone else done this before?
All are at ISO 3200 / 300mm / f5.6 except the last one, which is at 35mm.

Lightroom 3 beta has a grain filter
In my opinion digital noise is not as attractive as film grain
Although it will be interesting to hear some other opinions

It's hard to answer that.... I have (Colin too) the EOS 5D from Canon and the grain is almost not there......
Love the photos. They are great.

Thanks, guys.
I'm sort of prepping for my imminent purchase of a 7D, I know that it's low light capabilities are above and beyond my 10D's, I'd just like to
have a backup plan if I end up in low light.
Of course, I have no idea what the noise looks like in motion, so this might all be for naught, I'll just have to wait and see
