ok ok, I know I said I would only post from the e-session tomorrow but I have about 30 minutes preventing me from sleeping so here is a puppy from today!

Its my girlfriend's families new dog. Its a cock-a-poo and he is... gah, just read the BLOG if you want some background.

I like the softness in the photo (the colors not the dog.. lol) and how you choose to let the background fall off in the blur, very cool.

Nice photos.

Ever thought about shooting with a 100mm macro lens? They make great (non-macro) photos.....

funny you mention that. All these were done with the Nikon 105VR Macro lens. It has been my go-to lens for about everything now that I have the D700.. If its not the 50mm its the 105
