Magazine Cover and Spread 2

Here is the main 2 page layout. Let me know what you guys think. still playing with the text, but trying to keep it the same feel as the cover.

=) cc would help.. really trying to make this nice when i print it out on some good paper.

hmm the image came out looking kind of grey.. it doesnt look like that on the screen.. the blacks lost some of their richness.. need to figure that out.

-edit - updated the link with the corrected blacks

Mood: "coo coo" - a strictly medical term, used to describe a patient that has delved into a realm of insanity...

Assuming that you are working in CMKY, I would read up (google) as it's kinda of tricky designing in Illustrator or PS on a monitor, and then going to press on real paper. This should get u started with the right buzz words:

Good Luck!

Check out this article by Cappy on all the things needed for print

http://www.photoshopcafe.com/tutorials/printing/printing.htm

Assuming your going to a commercial press then you will need CMYK

Otherwise if your printing on an inkjet, you will use RGB. Use Adobe RGB. Make sure that a color profile is assigned.
