Colorprofile damaged?

Hello,

I've got a problem over here ..
Everytime when i copy a image from the internet to Photoshop,
then it looks different in Photoshop .. The colors are different
then from the original .. Even when i open a original image
thats already on the computer .. where does this problem come from? Is it the color profiles?
At the moment my color profile is set on sRGB IEC61966-2.1
And the other mode settings are 8-bits on RGB ..

Does anyone has the same problem or know how to fix this?

Silvan,

The save to web uses sRGB

If you edit the image in sRGB it will look the same. Make sure you assign this profile to the image first.
Also hit Ctrl/Cmd+Y to make sure you not in soft-proof mode.

You could also work in another color space but check it by setting up sRGB as the softProof profile.
You can find it under view>proof setup
