I wanted to give the appearance that the balloon is rising up in the sky, thus the crop with less sky above the balloon.
C's and c's greatly apprediated.

What about having the balloon more too the right in the image (or just crop it to the right of the balloon - same effect), it might give the balloon
more motion as if it's drifting up and off too the corner.

Yes, i say move it to the side a bit, also maybe some more contrast as well.
If you really want to give it the effect you were talking about, allow a bit more of the sky down at the bottom of the frame, make it a little less
squared... that'll do it...
I like.
